The broadly stated goal of enterprise architecture (EA) is to create a common and cohesive vision between business and technology leaders regarding: Emerging technology trends and enterprise business strategies that will drive the architecture; the IT requirements derived from enterprise business strategies; the role and definition of the technical architecture that best enables the business needs of the enterprise; and, the migration plan that will move the enterprise from the current to the future architecture.
The primary goal of SolarCell’s EA Initiative is to establish an EA process which is focused on building and maintaining an enterprise-wide technical architecture that best enables the priority business activities of the stakeholders and facilitates the adaptation of technology to the changing, business driven needs of the market. SolarCell, Inc was a graduate Information Resources management class project for Syracuse University. |
