The current Korean Travel, Inc. WAN connects to the Korean Travel, Inc. headquarters and it's 4 remote sites via a partial mesh Asynchronous Transfer Mode (ATM).  Each site is connected to all other sites via a Permanent Virtual Circuit.  Although this provides redundancy, it increases router convergence time and complicates the routing decisions.  Virtual Private Network (VPN) has been deployed at the Location 1 satellite site.  Bandwidth adjustments were recently made to the WAN, increasing the throughput capability of the Korean Travel, Inc. backbone to the Internet as well as email and file transfer communications.
