Network Redundancy and Backup
The wireless partial mesh network will be made more resilient by implementing a decentralized redundancy model. Backups for each system will be made on a real-time basis to the corresponding center. Community systems backup will be at the Colorado center, Information and Communications backup at the Arkansas Center, Basic needs and housing at the Montana center, Administration backup at the Ohio center, and Transportation & logistics at the Tennessee center. In the event of one or all of these systems failing at Ellsworth or at another center, operations for that system will seamlessly transfer to the backup through the wireless mesh network. This model will ensure minimum service disruption of systems. |
